Please understand any form of involvement with horses can be a dangerous activity. Alternative Horsemanship with Samantha Harvey Remote Horse Coach will not be held liable for any injuries you may experience with your horse. The information offered in both her individual coaching and Video Catalogue is to help improve your understanding of the horse and improve your interaction with him. It does not guarantee your safety. By engaging her services you are releasing her from any current or future liability.

 

Individual Horse Coaching

Scheduling- PLEASE ALLOW two (2) business days after you have made your payment to receive a confirmation email from Alternative Horsemanship to schedule a suitable time to speak with Sam.


We will then schedule your session time and confirm via email confirmation along with calling instructions at that point.

 

Cancellations/Rescheduling- Phone & Video Consultations
Due to Sam's limited time availability, you will have a 10 minute grace period from when the call is scheduled to begin, to call, or you will omit your session. If you need to reschedule a planned consult, please give at least 24 hours notice via email, prior to your originally scheduled session time. There is no fee to reschedule; if you do not give notice you will forfeit your time and no refunds are given.

Telephone Cancellations- If you choose to cancel a planned consult, please give at least 24 hours notice via email, prior to your originally scheduled session time. There is a $4 service fee. If you do not cancel 24 hours prior, there are no refunds given.

 

LIVE Webinars-

Nonrefundable. If you miss the live version, they will remain posted for one week following the original airing.

All video courses, webinars, and video vault access are non-refundable. Depending on the video/series or course, you may choose from a one-day rental (24 hours,) one week, one month, or an annual subscription.

 

Release of Liability - Equine Related Activities

For consideration received, and in return for the use, today and on all future dates of all equine-related coaching and instruction offered by Samantha Harvey, the Rider (equine student,) Rider's heirs, assigns, and representatives, hereby agree as follows:

            1.         Inherent Risks and Assumption of Risk.  The undersigned acknowledges there are inherent risks associated with equine activities such as described below, and hereby expressly assumes all risks associated with participating in such activities.   The inherent risks include, but are not limited to the propensity of equines to behave in ways such as, running, bucking, biting, kicking, shying, stumbling, rearing, falling, or stepping on, that may result in an injury, harm, or death to persons on or around them; the unpredictability of equine=s reaction to such things as sounds, sudden movement, and unfamiliar objects, persons or other animals; certain hazards such as surface and subsurface conditions; collisions with other animals; the limited availability of emergency medical care; and the potential of a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to injury to the participant or others, such as failing to maintain control over the animal or not acting within such participant=s ability.

            Rider acknowledges that horses, by their very nature are unpredictable and subject to animal whim.  Rider assumes all risks in connection therewith, and expressly waives any claims for any injury or loss arising therefrom.  Rider agrees to abide by and follow clinician's rules and regulations which, shall be posted and/or available from time to time.  Rider further acknowledges that the behavior of any animal is contingent to some extent upon the ability of Rider.  Rider assumes all risks therefore and warrants a full and fair disclosure of Rider's abilities has been made to Samantha Harvey.

            Rider expressly releases clinician from any and all claims for personal injury or property damage, even if caused by negligence (if allowed by the laws of this State) by Samantha Harvey or its representatives, agents, or employees.

            Warning  Any equine activity sponsor or an equine professional shall not be liable for any injury to or the death of a participant or equine engaged in an equine activity except in very limited situations.

            2.         Rider agrees to hold harmless, indemnify and defend clinician against, and hold harmless from, any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, judgments, orders, costs, or expenses, including attorney's fees, whether actually incurred or not, which may in any way arise from or be in any way connected with Rider's use of or presence upon the property of clinician and the facilities located thereon.

            3.          Rider agrees to waive the protection of any applicable statutes in this jurisdiction whose purpose, substance, and/or effect is to provide that a general release shall not extend to claims, material or otherwise, which the person giving the release does not know or suspect to exist at the time of executing the said release.

 

By engaging in services offered by Alternative Horsemanship with Samantha Harvey the Remote Horse Coach all participants are agreeing to the above Professional Liability Waiver Release.
